Wine Pairing of the Week: Langhe Arneis and Chicken Skewers

Your New Favorite Wine for Grilling Out

I simply can’t get enough grilling out in the Summer, especially when I get to enjoy nice weather, chicken skeweres on the grill, and a crisp, cool glass of refreshing wine. This white wine, Luca Bosio Langhe Arneis, comes from Peidmont, Italy, and couldn’t be a more refreshing wine to pair with your favorite summer foods.

Wine: Luca Bosio Langhe Arneis

Arneis is an Italian white grape that originates from Piedmont, Italy. Arneis is known to produce highly perfumed wines with aromas of peach, apricots, almond, and pineapple. This Langhe Arneis is crisp, floral, and refreshing, which makes it an excellent pair with chicken and vegetables. Perfect summer sipper.

The Luca Bosio vineyards are located in the heart of Langhe – a wine region located in Piedmont, Italy. The Bosio family is a 3rd generation of winemakers that are passionate about making unique and versatile wines from Piedmont.

Chicken Kebabs

Chicken Skewers are a simple and easy Summer meal that are both healthy and delicious. Enjoy!

Ingredients and Recipe:
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 small red onions
  • 2 small red peppers
  • 2 small green peppers
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Skewers
Cut chicken, peppers, and onions into pieces. Preheat grill for high heat. Mix lemon juice, onion powder, salt, and pepper and pour over chicken. Thread chicken, peppers, and onion alternately onto skewers. Place the skewers on the grill and cook about 12-15 minutes.
