Celebrate National Ice Cream Day with your two favorite food groups: Ice cream and Rosé.

In honor of National Ice Cream day, I’m switching up my usual wine of the week pairings with a sweet dessert pairing: Sparkling rosé and Haagen Daas vanilla ice cream. These sweet ice cream treats are not only tasty, but they’re adorable too. These “adult floats” can be a great party dessert for bridal showers, birthday parties, or anniversaries!

Wine: Sweet Sparkling Rosé

For this recipe in particular, aim to buy a sparkling rosé that less than $20 and not too dry. The ice cream and raspberry sauce will overpower the wine on the sweetness spectrum, so don’t waste your money on an expensive wine.

I used Korbel Sparkling Sweet Rosé, which was designed to have bright fruit flavors and aromas of vanilla. This is a great “party wine” since it pairs with many desserts and appetizers. It’s definitely on the sweeter side and will cater to the sweet tooths in your crew.

Shop a sparkling rosé (under $20) for your raspberry rosé floats:
