Cliffe Lede Winery Review: Rock’n’Roll

Overview:

Cliffe Lede is a Napa winery located in Stags Leap District and was opened by a Canadian. Perfect stop for music and rock’n’roll lovers

Atmosphere:

Very casual indoor setting with wooden furniture, leather couch and rock’n’roll inspired decor. Nice outdoor veranda with plenty of patio furniture and tables for tastings (with reservation). Winery is nestled among a large vineyard which is easily accessible through the patio.

Location:

1473 Yountville Cross Road Yountville, CA 94599

What you should know:

Good photo opp outside in front of their signature life-size hearts statue. Many of their featured wines are named after famous rock bands or songs. They also own Poetry Inn, which is a luxurious and beautiful inn for people looking to stay nearby. Dogs and kids are welcome

Reservations and Tastings/Tours:

Reservation not required for the Tasting Bar for groups under 6 people. All other tastings/experiences require appointment (outdoor patio, tables, etc).

Standout Wine:

We really enjoyed the 2014 Claret Red Blend. Smells like figs and chocolate and has a spicy smooth finish. All of their wines can range from $25-$100+
