Wine of the Week: Beaujolais and Grilled Chicken Salad

This light red wine is true perfection when paired with this delicious strawberry, feta, and grilled chicken salad.

Think you can’t pair red wine with your favorite summer salads? Think again! Beaujolais is known to be a “year-round” drinker since it happily pairs with a lot of foods including summer friendly and lighter foods like

Wine of the Week: German Riesling and Pad Thai

Look no further than this off-dry Riesling to pair with your next Thai craving.

I don’t know about you, but I get some SERIOUS Thai food cravings on a regular basis. I usually can’t resist ordering the most obvious item on every American Thai menu: Pad Thai. This cuisine can be a tricky pairing for wine but you will not regret pairing it with

Wine of the Week: Zinfandel and Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Slow Cooker BBQ Pork Sandwiches paired with Zinfandel

Its beginning to feel a lot like Summer and I’m craving some BBQ.

These slow cooker pulled pork sandwiches are a perfect, smoky meal or appetizer if you’re craving BBQ and not feeling like firing up the grill for summer season. The smoky flavor of the BBQ pairs amazingly with this savory, structured Old Vine Zinfandel from Eleven Eleven Wines.

Wine of the Week: Rosé and Eggs Benedict Casserole

Mother’s Day Brunch Pairing with Recipe

Mother’s Day is this weekend and there’s nothing Mom’s love more than Rosé and brunch.

Show your mom how much you love her with some Rosé paired with an Eggs Benedict Casserole. Pink wines are one of my favorite brunch drinks, and they are very versatile when it comes to food. This pale pink, lighter style Casa Smith Vino Rose from Charles Smith was a great match with this Eggs Benedict Casserole. The acidity of the crisp rose cuts into the rich, smooth hollandaise sauce.

Wine of the Week: Canard-Duchene Champagne and Tacos

Champagne and tacos? Yes, please! I’m celebrating Cinco de Mayo with tacos this weekend and have decided to pair it with a Brut Authentic Champagne from Canard-Duchene. These tacos are full of bold flavors, including salsa and spiced meat. The best way to cleanse your palate with spicy flavors is with a wine that is low in tannins and high in acidity, which is why this crisp, citrusy champagne was a great match with this dish.

Wine of the Week: Cuvaison Chardonnay paired with Baked Salmon

This week’s pairing is one of my favorite Chardonnays from Cuvaison with a delicious and easy-to-make baked Dijon-Garlic Salmon. Pairing a rich, oily fish like Salmon with a full-bodied, creamy Chardonnay makes for a perfect combination.
