8 Reasons Why You Should Go To Paso Robles Right Now

As a self-proclaimed “vine chaser” I can confidently tell you that California has no shortage of incredible wine regions to visit, and Paso Robles is no exception. After my recent visit to this charming wine region, I put together a list of reasons why Paso Robles needs to be the top of your vacation list.

1: The Vineyards at Calcareous Vineyards

Calcareous vineyards is located in the westside hills of Paso Robles. Not only will you be hooked on the wine, but the expansive vineyard views and rolling hills will draw you right in.

2: The Views at Daou Vineyards

Warning: The views at Daou may leave you mesmerized. But really, there’s a chance you will sit yourself in one of these chairs with a glass of wine and never want to leave.

3: Red Wines at Justin Winery

Justin is one of the most in-demand wineries in Paso Robles and they have great wine to back up their popularity. You may want to “re-visit” their Savant (Syrah/Cab) and Isosceles (Cab Sauv/ Cab Franc) signature wines.

4: Wine & Gourmet Cheese Tasting at Jada Vineyard Winery

Because who doesn’t like a good cheese plate? (seriously though). Jada offers a wine and cheese pairing that includes cheese from a local shop called Fromagerie Sophie.

5: Beer and Cider at Tin City

If you have any non-wine drinkers in your group (*gasp*), the perfect stop for you is Tin City (which is basically a playground for adults). They have a variety of options including BarrelHouse Brewery and a Cider company called Tin City Cider.

6: Sans Liege Tasting Room at Tin City

And for the wine drinkers in your group, Tin City has several wine tasting rooms that could keep you busy all day long. We stopped into the trendy Sans Liege tasting room for some great hospitality and wine.

7: Downtown Paso Robles Wine Bars

Its hard to recommend just one wine bar in downtown Paso Robles because there are plenty to keep you busy for days. We stopped into Tudor wine bar at the end of our day and enjoyed the red wine tasting flight.

8: Bocce Ball, Underground Wine Caves, and Lounge at Robert Hall

Robert Hall not only has the largest underground wine cavern in Central California, but they also have delicious wine, expansive views, and bocce ball. Just add friends and you have yourself a perfect day.
